No Visitors or Deliveries to WCE Campus,

Wednesday, April 17th.

Our 5th grade Rangers will be taking the STAAR science test Wednesday 4/17. Administration has asked there be no deliveries or visitors to campus. That includes classroom readers and all volunteers. Please send your 5th grade students with a sack lunch, a dry snack, and a water bottle with a sports top, if possible. There will be NO LUNCH DELIVERIES on these days. If you have any questions, please contact the campus.

The 2024 WCE PTA Online Auction was a HUGE success! We are so grateful for the MANY generous donors who made this happen. Thank you to ALL the Ranger families who participated in the auction. If you won your item, you'll be receiving an invoice to the email you registered with on the auction website.

Texas PTA Dues Increase 
 
Current Bylaw:
Article VII. Membership and Dues, Section 2. Dues
B. Annual dues for each member shall be the sum of national dues plus state dues plus the local dues amount of $5.50.  
Proposed Amendment: 
Increase the local dues to $6.00
New Bylaw if Approved:
Article VII. Membership and Dues, Section 2. Dues

B. Annual dues for each member shall be the sum of national dues plus state dues plus the local dues amount of $6.00.

 

The proposed amendment would be for the 2024-2025 fiscal/membership year. It will not affect the annual dues WCE PTA will collect from its members.
 
This proposed amendment will be voted on during the WoodCreek Elementary PTA General Membership Meeting on May 15, 2024 at 9:30am in the LGI. You must be a paid PTA member in order to vote.
 

Workroom Volunteers Needed

Do you have a bit of free time to help our teachers? Great! We ALWAYS need volunteers to help our teachers accomplish tasks in the workroom like copying & laminating. Sign up HERE to volunteer.

Volunteer at the WCE Library!
Come help out in the library! Library volunteers are needed to shelve the many books our Rangers return and assist with check-in and check-out. We respectfully request that Little Rangers not accompany in this volunteer position due to the Library Lessons going on throughout the day.
